Hi. You should try 12v, its like night and day. Sounds rubbish on 9v, I concur.

Hmmm, I don't think it's copy and paste. They explicitly mention the name of the device in their declaration: https://mediadl.musictribe.com/media/PLM/data/docs/P0E8M/QSG_BE_0709-AJH_DUAL-PHASE_WW.pdf

Probably it is like you said and similar to TC's Juno Chorus and the Moog One: Analog Signal Path and digital disease everywhere else. Cheap Digital LFOs sounds like Bantha Poodoo, they have a _perfect_ shape, but that's not what's necessary....

"DUAL-PHASE

This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits

for a Class B digital device, pursuant to part 15 of the FCC Rules.

("https://mediadl.musictribe.com/media/PLM/data/docs/P0E8M/QSG_BE_0709-AJH_DUAL-PHASE_WW.pdf ) Doesn't this mean it is a digital machine?

I highly doubt that they would do more than just change the artwork/name for legal reasons and I highly doubt they would redesign the circuit in the span of four months. It's possible, however, that the LFO or switching in the pedal is done digitally, but as far as I know, the actual signal path is analog. I'll have to pop it open to be sure, though.

All descriptions say it's an analog(ue) optoisolator-based dual phasor circuit, which is what the Mu-Tron is as well.

I'm going to guess that the "fine print" on the manual was a cut-and-paste job.
